Complete renovation of the old Aquapura Hotel for the new brand and concept of Six Senses, chain of Thai Hotels that has opened their first five-stars hotel in Europe.
Located in Quinta de Vale Abraão, on the south bank of Douro river, the Six Senses Douro Valley is surrounded by vineyards and includes a protected forest, several gardens and Villas, which have also been a target of intervention.
The Project Management and Engineering Projects were developed jointly with an international team, composed by the Atelier Português Rebelo de Andrade, the American Designers of Clodagh Design (Interior Design) and G2J Design (Lighting), by the Topiaris Landscape Architects (Portugal) and Margie Ruddick (USA).
The hotel has 57 Rooms, a Spa with 2.000 square metres, two dining rooms, two bars, Business Centre and seven Villas.
The hotel project is in remodelling with the installation of 10 more rooms and meeting rooms and leisure activity, and the remodelling of seven existing Villas.
